Gleaning and Harvesting Kale

Back in April 2021, our spring crew gleaned and harvested overwintered kale for our Farm to Food Bank effort.

The kale harvested went to Fox Chapel Elementary School in Germantown, MD, and we were connected to them through one of our partners, Manna Food Center. Check out some photos from our socially distanced harvesting efforts and of us ready for our trip to drop off the donation.
