Let’s talk about a benefit of horticultural therapy that isn’t discussed much. Here at Red Wiggler Community Farm, we believe in the dignity of earning a paycheck by doing meaningful work. Our Growers work part time and are paid minimum wage or higher. In addition to the therapeutic benefit of hard work and earning a paycheck, our Growers gain a professional identity as farmers.
