It’s #ThrowbackThursday! You may or may not know this, but in the past, Red Wiggler Community Farm had chickens and offered eggs for purchase by our CSA customers. We realized we couldn’t do everything, so we don’t have chickens anymore. .
If you’re interested in purchasing locally produced eggs, some farms that offer them include Amaranth Acres (Dickerson, MD), Chicken of the Woods Permaculture Farm (Darnestown, MD), East Rivendell Farm (Damascus, MD), Fox Hollow Farm Gaithersburg (Gaithersburg, MD), and Nick’s Organic Farm (Potomac & Buckeystown, MD). You can also find them offered at numerous farmers markets.
