It’s #MeetTheFarmerMonday – Meet Steve! Steve was hired as a Grower in 2009.

He excels at a wide variety of tasks on the farm, such as seeding, weeding, thinning, planting transplants and seeds, harvesting many veggies, sorting veggies, weighing and bagging produce, and mulching. Steve is adept with many tools, such as a rake, lopper, spading fork, wheel hoe, hula hoe, and dibbler.

Steve also loves biology and studying insects on our farm. Steve knows many insects by name and their role in the ecosystem, and he’s willing to share his knowledge with others. Thanks to Steve for all that he does, and if you see Steve, be sure to say hi to him!
