It’s #MeetTheFarmerMonday – Meet Elaine! Elaine started as a volunteer for Red Wiggler in 2007, and she was hired as a Grower in 2011. Elaine has been back at the farm since the middle of June, assisting with the CSA on Saturdays, where she greets customers, checks people in, and is happy to give produce recommendations.

Elaine is a great weeder, a go-to staff member for harvesting root vegetables, and also good at transplanting young plants, taking care to plant them gently and tenderly. And last year, Elaine was a part of a team who presented about our farming methods at the 7^th Farm-Based Education Network Conference.
