It’s #MeetTheFarmerMonday – Meet Jerry! Jerry has been with Red Wiggler Community Farm since the very beginning in 1996. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, we were happy to welcome Jerry back to the farm starting last week. Jerry knows a lot about the farm and where tools are, is able to lead teams and teach others, and is good at tasks such as soil preparation, preparing trays for seeding, pulling up plastic out in the field, mulching, raking, and weeding. Most recently, Jerry has been helping with Red Wiggler’s new Education Garden – weeding and spreading mulch, in preparation for when Red Wiggler is able to host groups and visitors again. Thanks to Jerry for all that he does, and if you see Jerry, be sure to say hi to him!
