Last week we began construction on our much needed program building and greenhouse project! The 3,000 square foot space will transform our programs and the people who interact with the farm in so many different ways. Concrete for the footers was poured last week. We are planning to hold a special event in late June or early July on the day that the timbers are raised up and put in place…aka a Barn Raising gathering. Stay tuned.
The building & greenhouse will mean a huge jump in program capacity that will be on line for the 2012 growing season. We are using this momentum to help us raise the last $250,000 needed to wrap up the Capital Campaign by December 31st.
