Marlene has worked for the Montgomery County Council for over 25 years, advising them on land use and development matters and a range of other issues.  Before working for the Council, she was a consultant involved with the financing of alternative energy projects.  Marlene first learned of Red Wiggler on a Leadership Montgomery bus tour and began volunteering for the farm.  She joined the Board in 2002 and became President of the Board in 2005.  Marlene loves the multi-faceted mission of the farm and the sense of community it creates.  She believes that there are few organizations that serve such a broad spectrum of causes and individuals and few that so enchant anyone who spends time there.  In addition to Red Wiggler, Marlene is a volunteer for Reading is Terrific.  She has three adult daughters and spends her free time traveling (mostly to her children) and enjoying outdoors sports with her husband.

Anne is ‘all about the data’, and she brings her highly detailed organizational skills to her role as Secretary of the Board of Red Wiggler.  She came to Red Wiggler through meeting a group of Growers who were on a ‘field’ trip to the Jimmy Cone ice cream shop in Damascus one hot summer day.  She subsequently joined the CSA, and in 2011 joined the Board.  Anne is inspired by how Red Wiggler continues to build the skills and self-confidence of the Growers, and in how they have reached out to support the larger community.  Anne lives in Ijamsville with her husband and three rescued dogs.
