We welcome school groups, service providers, and community groups to join us to learn about the process of growing healthy food while touching, tasting, and smelling your way through our beautiful hillside classroom.
Farm Visits for Students and Groups
There are a few different options for your school group, service group, or community group to visit our farm. As a first step, please submit an official request through our interest form. We will reach out to you to discuss your group’s needs and our availability.

Education-Focused Visit
Explore the fields, greenhouse, beehives, barn, and education gardens while tasting, smelling, and observing along the way. We’ll choose from a menu of hands-on activities suited to your group’s size & interests.
- All ages welcome.
- Capacity: Up to 15 participants (not including chaperones/supports)
- Duration: 45 minutes – 2 hours, with the option to join us for a picnic lunch afterwards.

Project-Based Visit
We’ll give you a brief introduction to the farm, then dig into a project in our fields, greenhouse, or barn. Tasks include weeding, field prep, harvesting, and planting!
- Age: 6th grade/age 12 and above.
- Capacity: Up to 12 participants (not including chaperones/supports)
- Duration: 2-3 hours, with the option to join us for a picnic lunch afterwards.

Virtual Visit - Farm Tour Video

Sliding Scale Fees for Farm Visits
We ask for program fees to help us cover the administrative and staffing costs of your visit. We are committed to ensuring that no group is turned away due to financial limitations. Groups that can pay the full fee—or more—help support those who may not be able to cover the entire amount.
- Sprout Tier: $25 per visit
- Meadow Tier: $50 per visit
- Harvest Tier: $75 per visit

How to Sign Up Your Group for a Visit at Red Wiggler Care Farm
Step one:
Fill out our Group Interest Form. You’ll provide the number of participants in your group, the date you would like to visit, and what type of experience you prefer.
Step two:
We’ll follow up with you to confirm the date and details of your visit.
Step three:
Fill out, sign, and return the Memo of Understanding form.
Step four:
Pay the suggested program fee*. Payments can be made via cash or check on the day of your visit, or online.
Step five:
