CFR Gleaning in the Rain
This past Wednesday morning, a group from Community Food Rescue came out in the rain and gleaned 38 lbs. of kale and 31 lbs. of sweet potato greens!
Harvesting Turnips and Kale in the Rain
A little rain, wetness, and mud couldn’t stop our team from smiling and harvesting turnips and kale yesterday!
1,007 Lbs. of Sweet Potato Harvested (Monday 9/26/2022)
A big thank you to the 18 volunteers, including many from local MCPS schools, for spending your Monday morning with us harvesting sweet potatoes! A jaw-dropping total of 1,007 pounds was harvested. WOW!! THANK YOU to everyone for all your hard work!!

This past Wednesday, 27 friends from United Therapeutics came and worked side-by-side with us! They helped plant sweet potatoes; harvest spring onions; install drip tape irrigation; weed our peppers, eggplants, and tomatoes; and more. Thank you, United Therapeutics!
