It’s #MeetTheFarmerMonday – Meet Jackie, Red Wiggler Community Farm’s Seasonal Crew Leader! Jackie works with teams of Growers, interns, and others on tasks throughout the farm such as harvesting, transplanting, and post-harvest sorting and packing. Prior to coming to Red Wiggler, Jackie worked at an urban farm in Baltimore as a Farm Educator, as well as at educational farms in New York City. Jackie is passionate about creating a more sustainable and equitable food system, and she loves sharing this passion with others. Outside of Red Wiggler, Jackie enjoys hiking and spending time in nature, admiring the plants and animals she comes across.
