This summer, we’re celebrating 30 years, and we’re inviting you to help us grow for 30 more.
A Summer of Giving, Month by Month
We’ve put together six ways to mark this milestone with us, each one tied to something real and tangible happening on the farm right now.
Sponsor a Field — $1,000
Only 10 fields remain to be sponsored and named for the season. This is a chance to leave a mark on the land itself with your name (or a loved one’s or something fun!) on a field that feeds this community.
June: Grower Support
Our Growers are the heart of Red Wiggler. $30 gets adaptive tools and supplies. $150 funds specialized training. $250 covers a whole season of vegetables. And $500? That’s a week of fair wages for the people who show up and make this farm run.
July: Harvest Share
Fresh produce shouldn’t be a luxury, but for many families in our region, it is. Your July gift puts food directly on tables. $30 sends one share of produce to a low-income household. $125 covers a full month of shares. $500 provides a family with produce all season long.
August: Care Farming Network
Red Wiggler isn’t just a farm, it’s also a model. Our Care Farming Network is advancing therapeutic farming practices nationwide, so more people can access the health, well-being and belonging that comes from care farming. $125 funds a pro bono consultation for a new care farm. $500 sponsors a mentor site visit.
September: Community Engagement
The farm is a place where people come together to work, learn, grow, and share food. In September, your gift helps us bring even more people through our gates. $30 buys supplies for a Sensory Tour. $75 funds a small group visit. $500 makes a regional Care Farming Network meetup possible.
Become a Sustaining Member — $30/month
The most powerful thing you can do is stay. A monthly gift of $30 or more keeps the farm growing all year long, through every season and every challenge.
Why Now
Thirty years is a long time. It’s also not nearly enough. There are more people who could be working here, more families who could be eating fresh food, more communities that could learn from what we’ve built.
This summer, every gift counts double: as a celebration of what’s been built and as an investment in what comes next.
