We’re excited to post that roughly 30 shares in our 2009 CSA season are open to the public!
We’ve had a return rate close to 75% from our 2008 customers and thus have about 30 shares to open to the general public for the 2009 season. This year in hopes of fairness, we are holding a lottery the week of January 19th with all submitted applications and $50 checks. Actually- we ended up with an 89% return rate made up of 2008 CSA participants. We’ve also expanded onto 2 acres that we had in long term rotation. Bottom line- we ended up offering up 34 new CSA memberships this year for a total of at least 120 member households.(posted March 19 2009)
